Coffee House has been a tradition at West Hills Friends since the very beginning of our life together. We used to gather each month. People brought desserts to share, and anyone who ordered a "sampler plate" would get a taste of each item. That choice was always announced with great gusto!
During those early years of Coffee House, Meredith Fieldhouse brought wax paper and combs. We played homemade kazoos as backup musicians to other performers..
These days, we gather less frequently. Kazoos are less common, but Coffee House still has a "homemade" feel. Musicians of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged. Sharing our love for one another is more important than the quality of the performance.
